Barnesville Road is still blocked, though we are able to access Good News readily.  

3/12/2012 update: Barnesville Road remains blocked between Peachtree Road and the intersection of 117/Slidell Avenue/Barnesville Road.    The bridge at the bottom of the hill by the Wilson Farm is out and not passable.
The county is saying that complete restoration will be completed by mid April.

Detours
(Peachtree Road - at the intersection of Peach Tree and Barnesville Road  (Barnesville School) vehicles MAY NOT turn right onto Barnesville. If you are on PeachTree you will need to turn around and make a left turn on Whites Store Road, follow all the way, then make a left on Bucklodge, and then sharp turn onto Barnesville. 
Please under no circumstances attempt to enter via the back end of the property from Peachtree.  This acreage is being utlized by our property owner as hay pasture ($$ crop), and several fenced in cattle pastures also prevent access to the Good News Stable buildings. 

Barnesville Road access via 117 (Clopper Road) from Germantown - at intersection of 117, Slidell and Barnesville, there are signs up indicating Barnesville Road is closed, and to detour to the left on 117.  Please ignore this and continue straight onto Barnesville Road to the Good News driveway (on your left). 
  
If you are coming from Frederick on 28 make a left onto Bucklodge Road.  At intersection of 117/Slidell/Barnesville, make a sharp left onto Barnesville towards the barn.  Please note that this may not be the best way if you are driving a trailer.
